We'll probably keep the September Diabetes Regatta as a distance race.

Ideas for activities the remainder of this year
Everyone seemed to have a good time with the more "informal" nature of our trivia contest/race last weekend. We also had the best participation in a long time (15 boats). I'm thinking of doing a similar fun event on August 2. Ideas include: a watermelon race (something our old sailing club in Oklahoma did each year) or a fishing tournament (one of my kid's idea). I'd appreciate any input anyone might have on something that would be fun for the club in general.

Ross, the race was great, despite the fact that I didn't get to go. What a wonderful day at the yacht club. I hope everyone had as much fun as we did. I think the race participation will continue to grow with the new ideas that will be pouring in. Thanks for all you do.
